Today, Turkey is our genuine security barriers market and 40 percent of the 14 million worth of revenue we get from the market. How is 2021 progressing for you? With the pandemic, the priority of security, which is among the most basic needs of people, has also changed. The importance of security and barrier systems has increased in the pandemic period when people cannot go to the streets and production facilities continue to produce with fewer people. Due to the coronavirus, there was a 40 percent increase in demand in the market in 2020. We think that this increase in demand will realize a 25 percent growth in the sector compared to last year. Unlike other sectors, our work accelerated during this period. In addition to our domestic sales, we also increased our exports during this period. In the first periods of the pandemic, we received intense demand, especially from the production facilities and factories. Although we have left the first months of the year behind, we are growing rapidly. In this period, as in every field, there was a tendency towards technology and digital in security systems. Barrier and security systems, which include the internet of things and artificial intelligence technologies, are in high demand in this period. In the first month of the year, we achieved a 70 percent increase in sales and demands compared to last year. With the pandemic, people's awareness of security has increased. I think that even if the effects of the pandemic diminish and life returns to normal, the growth in the security and barrier market will continue. There is an export-oriented focus throughout the sector. How do you handle this issue as a company? As Arma Kontrol, we want to introduce Turkish Made quality to the world since our establishment. In this direction, we closely follow the changing needs and technology trends of the day. We introduced the quality of Turkish Made to the world with our 'first' products that we have implemented since the day we were founded. We export to 60 countries in different geographies such as South Korea, France, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Dubai and Malaysia. Road Blocker, Rising Bollard and high security products make up 60 percent of our exports. In 2020, we increased our exports by 20 percent compared to the previous year and realized an export of approximately 2.5 million dollars. In 2021, we aim to increase the number of countries we export to 75 by focusing on new products and technologies. Today, we get a 15 percent share from the world security and barrier market. We are making attempts to increase our exports day by day. In this sense, we make serious investments every year in R&D. With our efforts, we aim to increase our exports by 30 percent in 2021. Our negotiations continue for new markets such as Russia and Mexico. We want to take part in markets where technological competition is extremely intense, such as the USA, China, Japan, England and Spain. Our goal is to transform Turkey into a world center of the barrier and security systems. What do you base your main strategy on in product and service models that change in line with customer expectations? As Arma Kontrol, we position ourselves as a technology company and develop our strategy on the basis of R&D. In this sense, R&D is our most important and strong muscle. We also invest a lot to improve our R&D muscle. In our new factory where we will start production, we will also establish an R&D center and we will allocate 20 percent of our turnover to R&D. We continue our work with the slogan "We produce barrier systems for you to be safe". Our focus in R&D consists of 3 structures: Internet of Things, Internet of Services and Cyber-Physical Systems. We invest in automation and robotic technologies in our production. Thus, we aim to increase the standardization and quality in production and products to the highest point. All of artificial intelligence and object in the first months of 2020. In addition, we perform a software company with 50 subsidiaries operating in Turkey percent over the internet.
